Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple
Many thousands of idols are carved into pillars. There are 5 musical instruments near the north tower. The Ashta Shakti Mandap consists of eight statues of Amman. Apart from this, the Pandya sculptures of the Pandya sculptures can be seen in many of the temple towers and pillars. In the prakara surrounded by the sanctuary of Swami, 64 deviations of Lord Shiva are sculpted.

Festivals:
The Chaitat festival is very popular here. Festival of festivals are celebrated on the occasion of Anai monthly festival, Navaratri, Navarathri Festival, Karthikai Deepath festival,
Margari Utsavam, Thaipapam, Mar Uthiri. The Chariot Festival is a festival celebrated in the temple premises.
